The Van Buren County Reserve Officer Foundation is funded entirely by the contributions and support from our members and donors. We are a qualified, non-profit organization under 501C (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax identification is 83-3423718. We are committed to supporting the Sheriff's office and strengthening public safety through public and private resources beyond the county budget.

Our mission is to provide training and educational grants or funds to organizations and activities focused on the continued education and training of officers and similar groups or volunteers in police service. Education and training of these individuals is critical, not only to the safety of Sheriff office personnel, but to protecting the lives and property of Van Buren County Citizens in a manner which maintains the highest degree of professional excellence, integrity and courtesy
